The ‘Earth Chronicles’ series and more specifically the book we are dealing with today, ‘The 12th Planet’ is based on premises such as that mythology is not an extravagance, but that they are really ancestral memories; “that the Bible must be read literally as a historical-scientific document; and that the ancient civilizations, much older and more splendid than is generally believed, were the product of knowledge brought to Earth by the Anunnaki.”
According to Mesopotamian mythology, at the beginning of their times the Anunnaki were the most powerful gods, both for the Sumerians and for the Akkadians, Assyrians and Babylonians.
